Cleaning Tips

Vacuuming

Vacuuming is the single most important process in carpet cleaning. It is crucial to get rid of all dry dirt before cleaning commences. It is also very important for the daily maintenance of hard floors. For commercial premises, an upright vacuum is often required to get at the dry dirt located at the bottom of the carpet pile. DriSafe offers a wide range of upright, canister and specialist vacuum cleaners. We deal directly with the manufacturer to get you the best equipment at the right price. Ask about our special Hi-Filtration vacuums that are suitable for use where dust is a real concern. Certain models have recently been approved for use in clean room environments! These vacuums are particularly suitable to remove dust particles that irritate asthma or allergy sufferers. Click here for further details on our range…

Cleaning Laminate and Wood Floors

It is critical not to over wet laminate and wood floors to prevent damage and the build up of residues. DriSafe recommend the use of a good quality mop (preferably with a polypropylene head to prevent over absorption and waste of cleaner) and a dedicated hard floor cleaner. Using washing up liquid will ultimately lead to a build of cleaning chemicals residue (causing the floor to get dirty more quickly) and a streaky finish to the floor! DriSafe stocks the © Dr. Schutz range of floor care products. Call us today for further information.

If you have only one or two small spots or spills of concern and don’t need to clean the whole of your carpet, try the DriSafe Spotting Kit that has been specifically developed to allow safe and effective spot and spill removal. Contact your local Operator or Head Office for further details.
